The other day, I posted about my 2017 goals (read here). Something that you may have noticed, is that these goals were measurable, or as some would call, S.M.A.R.T.
Every new year, the same “goals” or resolutions are made. Some of these resolutions include: getting healthy, staying off the phone more, or focusing on my own happiness. The problem with these broad resolutions are that they are not measurable. What do you define as healthy? How much time do you spend on the phone now so that you can be on it less? What makes you happy? When you begin to answer these questions, you begin to create a goal that is attainable.
What does S.M.A.R.T. stand for? If you haven’t guessed, it’s an acronym.
To further explain S.M.A.R.T. Goals, and to help you create your own, I have put together a simple guide for you to download.
